Our method

Family doctor care, but just a little bit different

In 2026, we launched a new, small-scale practice. We use a modern approach that may be different from what you’re used to. Here, you’ll have direct contact with your doctor, without the intervention of an assistant. Moreover, you’ll never be on hold, because we work by appointment. You decide when the GP will contact you.

The initial contact is by phone. The GP will assess each situation together with you and adapt the approach accordingly. Whenever possible, we offer immediate assistance by phone. If that’s not possible, you’re welcome to make an appointment at our practice at Mathenesserlaan 309. Prefer to send a message? You can do this through our personal portal where you can contact us, repeat medications, and access results and your own medical file.

The assistant is not on the phone. However, she does have her own consultation hours for smear tests, wart removal, ear irrigation, injections, and CVRM (blood pressure and cholesterol checks). You can schedule an appointment directly with the assistant for many things.

How Flexdokters Works

Your GP is part of a Flexdokters practice.

Our practice is connected to Flexdokters, a cooperative of GP practices. This offers several benefits for both patients and doctors, while always keeping the doctor-patient relationship as the top priority.

In a Flexdokters practice, patients can contact their GP directly. This is great because you only need to tell your story once. Often, your question can be answered right away. If not, you’ll schedule a follow-up appointment with your GP. This is useful, as you don’t need to visit the practice for every question.

We ask that you schedule your own appointments. Since we work by appointment only, there are minimal wait times, and the waiting room is usually quiet. This creates a calm atmosphere for both you and the GP during your consultation.

Self-Manage

You can handle many things online through this website. To help you best, we’ve listed the most important information below.

  • If you want to make an appointment with your GP, you can do it online at any time, day or night. You no longer need to wait on the phone or at the desk.
  • You can also easily ask a question or send a photo through the website. This is handy for non-urgent questions or if you want to send a photo, such as of a skin spot.
  • Need a repeat prescription, or want to view your medical records or results? You no longer need to call the practice. You can do all of this through the website portal.

FAQ

These frequently asked questions have been compiled based on questions we receive frequently. By providing the answers here, we save you the trouble of contacting us and we GPs have fewer interruptions in our work with patients. If you cannot find the answer to your question, you can ask the practice.
